January
A mouse took up residence in our garage and we discovered that the best way to handle the situation was with an tried and true mouse trap.
None of these new fangled contraptions for us.
Doodle got to participate in the school Spelling Bee.
Civics can be a very hard word when you're nervous.
February
Duder learned how to use illustrator and had some fun.
He also made a picture tutorial about putting a harness on a dog.
And that's all I got.
Seriously, that's it. I didn't post one thing on this blog in February and I didn't take one picture of the kids.
Was I sick? I don't remember.
March
My little golden crocus made us all smile and gave us hope that spring would soon be here.
But then winter smacked us upside the head with more snow.
I guess the equivalent of making lemonade out of lemons with snow
would be making a snow fort.
And OH, the fun they had!
April
April found us ice skating over Spring Break.
Celebrating Duder's Golden birthday.
At a couple of school programs.
Being silly with friends.
And
Celebrating Easter with family.
May
Wow! May was eventful.
There was the Stake Musical, The King and I
A piano recital
A new dress from Grandma
and
This girly-girl had her teeth fixed. (Did I ever write about that?)
It was a little traumatic for me bur fortunately not for her.
We also had more school programs
and
a sleep-over in the tree house with the cousins.
Good times!
June
What, oh, what did we do in June?
You know, just the usual.
End of school
Dance recital
Visit Aunt Fern and Mesa Verde
Swimming lessons
Robotics camp @ UofU
Music camp
Just the usual
and don't forget to throw in
Girl's camp
a niece's wedding and
W- family reunion
and you have the recipe for
One busy, busy, fun, fun, fun month.
Coming soon.
