My friend Shonda inspired me to be crafty this weekend.
F.Y.I. the H. R. doesn't stand for "Human Resources"
So after reading her blog and seeing some adorable things she made I decided it was time to make something cute for my girls' room. It has been a very long time since I have made anything crafty.
So after reading her blog and seeing some adorable things she made I decided it was time to make something cute for my girls' room. It has been a very long time since I have made anything crafty. These are just wooden letters from the craft store with bright scrap booking paper glued on them. (I may embellish more later.)
The boys went hiking today with dad, the girls decided to have a fantastic girls day with shopping, lunch and crafting. For lunch H- chose to eat at Wendy's so we could have some chocolate frozen goodness a.k.a. a Frosty. TASTY!
H- Picked out the fun papers. I was surprised with her choice. I thought she would go with something more traditional and floral. Her choices are superb, though, don't you think?
The whole craft project took about 10 minutes then we slapped them on the wall. We were both very pleased with the finished product.
I think R- likes them too. I just hope I hung them high enough she won't try and grab them.
Shonda, thanks for the inspiration.
