Christmas Lights At Temple Square, S.L.C., UT

One of the things I was most excited to do on our trip home for Christmas was to take our kids to Temple Square to see the lights.
I don't love the cold but it is so worth enduring it to see the lights.
My husband and I talked up the lights for weeks so I think the kids were just as excited as we were to be there and they enjoyed it just as much as we hoped they would.

Here is one cold, happy family. A nice lady all bundled up in a big coat with fake fur on the hood volunteered to take a picture of all of us. Little S- wondered why she had a raccoon on her coat.

You may be thinking that he's up there because he's tired but really it was to help keep his dad's ears warm.

She wanted a picture with this tree because it was the only purple/pink one we saw. Of course it was her favorite.

You may be thinking that the little girl with the white coat is our little R- and that she is tall for a 1 year old. Actually it's some little girl that decided she wanted to be in our picture and in our family. When the kids went up there and stood for the picture she ran up and stood with them. Then she followed them back to the bench we were setting on and sat with us. Her parents were embarrassed we thought it was funny.

Our favorite tree. We were happy to see it's still big and red.
