Student of the Week

Our Doodle has been chosen as student of the week for the second Grade.
He is so excited. He got to have his picture in the newspaper and next week he gets to have a root beer float with the principal.
As part of his special week we got to write letters to his class telling them some of the great things about our Doodle.
My mom was working on the computer writing her letter when Doodle walked in.
Following is the conversation I overheard.
Doodle: What are you doing?
G-ma:
I'm writing a letter to your class. What should I write about you?
Doodle: Write that I'm fascinated by space and time and the time continuum.
G-ma:
I'm not sure I know what the time continuum is.
Doodle: Well, lets just put it this way if there was no time continuum then time couldn't move forward and we couldn't progress. We would always be stuck right in the same place. I'm fascinated by that, and how that relates to the space we're in.
G-ma: Okay,......If I write that will anyone else in your class know and understand what it is?
Doodle: UMMMM.................Just write that I have a big family and I love them. Okay?

On Christmas (I think it was last year, but possibly the year before) he was showing me some of his presents and he had gotten a Lego set that he could build a Mars spaceship. I was asking him about it and I asked if it could really go to Mars. (Thinking I could spark his imagination.) He gave me a whole lecture on how this was just a Lego set but that NASA was putting together something that would be going to Mars in 2010 or something like that.
