It's been a while - but there's big things going on

Let me start with a great big SORRY NO PICTURES! and SORRY STILL NO INTERNET AT MY HOUSE - THUS THE LACK OF BLOGGING.

There are big things going on.
Big plumbing things.
The drain for our washer is way backed up.
Lucky for us we got a home warranty when we bought the house, they'll pay to have a plumber come out and clean out the drain for us.
Unlucky for us there's no clean-out in the pipes for the laundry --- the plumber won't do anything until we find the clean-out.
Lucky for us there's probably already a clean-out but just dry-walled over in the storage room directly under the laundry room.
Unlucky for us, after we cut through the wall where the pipes are supposed to be there are no pipes.
Lucky for us we have the number of the former owners we can call them and ask them where the pipes and clean-out are.
Unlucky for us this was a reoccurring problem for them too and there is no clean-out. They were supposed to disclose that to us before we bought the house but they didn't.
Lucky for us there's a lady a block over with the same house as us and she said we could come over and see if we could see the clean-out on her walls.
Unlucky for us there really is no dedicated clean-out for the laundry.
Lucky for us my husband's resourceful and found the vent for the drain in the wall behind the laundry and can put a clean-out in, so tomorrow the plumber can come again and use his all powerful cleaner-out-tool to fix our drain.
Unlucky for us we have a lot of walls to fix now and flooring to replace in the laundry room.
Lucky for us (me) I wanted to paint over the yellow in the laundry room anyway so I get to pick out a color I like and new flooring. Also we were able to carefully remove the map wallpaper from our storage room without killing it so we can put it back up after we (MDH) fixes the walls.
Finally
Unlucky for us I haven't been able to do laundry for quite a while. (I was saying I needed to go buy the kids new underwear so I wouldn't have to do the laundry. She said I shouldn't waste my money......the kids could change their underwear........with each other.......... this is how that announcement would go. "The good news kids, you finally get to change your underwear. The bad news, with each other." I think that would go over well. Don't you?)
Lucky for us I've been able to do laundry at my parent's house so the kids don't have to trade underwear.


No worries though this should all be resolved tomorrow.
