Proper Princess Attire

I had to laugh at this get-up and thank Heaven we have a little one that is so spunky, creative and fun! Even if she did eat half a box of Whoppers while I was in the shower. She's still so darn cute.

"What is she wearing?" is one thing you may be asking yourself. Well, let me take you on a little tour/explanation of what she's wearing.

Lets start at the top.

A CROWN: Every princess needs one! This particular crown was borrowed from her brother (his birthday crown) I heard her ask....she even said please!

A SHIELD: A modern princess wouldn't be caught without one. They're so useful. Not only can they deflect blows from a villain's sword and protect you from the fiery breath of a dragon but they're super useful for fending off those ever persistent, kiss pursuing, charming princes.

Draped ever so becomingly over one shoulder we have

A HOLSTER: or as she calls it, "A princess thing" This holster has two uses

1. To look good.
2. Hold her sword ---guns are just too violent.

A SWORD: I think if you were to look closely you'd see that this sword is more for decoration than for battle. I don't think it'd hold up well against an angry giant at all.

My favorite part of all of this was every time I'd take her picture she'd shout, "Princess!" Hence the funny faces in most of the pictures.
