Hello?

{tap, tap, tap, tap} Is this thing on?

Hello?

{clearing throat}
Hello!
Hi!

It's been a while, I know.
We celebrated a lot last month.
Between family parties, birthdays, Christmas & New Years; throw in Christmas shopping, candy making, crafting, gift making, lesson giving, visiting, sledding, football watching, game playing, cooking, more family dinners, learning & loving.....We had a very busy month.
.....But we survived!
...and this past week...
after the kids went back to school....
I CRASHED!!!
HARD!
But it felt good.

So I thought I'd share 3 out of the handful of pictures I snapped in the month of December.

First, the day before Christmas, I was in the kitchen (strategic neighbor gift giving planning and prep zone) preparing neighbor gifts to be delivered by my elves when I heard my husband call out,
"There's the Grinch! He's driving down the street in his chair."
I ran to the door just in time to see him turn the corner and go around the block.
So, I grabbed my camera and waved him down as he came back around the block.
He said he was looking for little Cindy.
Isn't this awesome!

Second, our baby girl celebrated her 4th Birthday!
Really? Four years old?
Yes it's true!
She wanted a puppy in a purse, chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, chocolate ice cream and water to drink. Which of course she got, it was her birthday after all.
What she didn't know she wanted but loved when she opened the packages were white and pink rain boots that glow in the dark, a Jesse doll and a Dora quilt made by Grandma.
Again, Awesome!

Third, our dog, Makal/McCall got a harness for Christmas. She tends to pull like crazy on her walks and we all felt like she was choking so Santa thought a harness might solve the problem. Of course he was right!
The funny thing is, she doesn't pull at all when she wears her harness. She walks like she thinks she's fancy.
Umm and maybe she likes to pull Sweet Cheeks in the sled.
Awesome to the third power!

BTW the first picture was taken Dec. 24th. Did you notice the green grass.
The third picture was taken Dec. 27th. The green grass is gone and we have officially been blanketed in winter white that's stuck around.
Not sure how I feel about that....still undecided!

Happy Sunday!
