June = dance recital
At least it does if your daughter is a dance student.
Our sweet girl's dance recital was held at a local high school and she was so excited for her
"Dance Class on Stage with lots of people watching and with make up and a pretty dress."
(Her words)
I guess she couldn't remember the word, "recital".
We were impressed with her performance skills.
Seriously,
She smiled the biggest smile The Whole Time!
Where did she learn that?
Maybe it's just in her genes.
She loved being in the class with two of her friends, R. & T.
I don't know where T was in this picture. I thought I got a picture of all three of them but I can't find it on my computer.
After they danced the girls got a giant Laffy Taffy and a certificate.
A rose from Mom & Dad,
and a Barbie with a matching dance outfit from Grandma and Grandpa.
As far as she's concerned it was the best day EVER!
Even if her dance was number 36 out of 42.
Seriously!
Who does that to 4 year olds?
But it's all good.
She had fun.
And.
We'll be attending a different dance studio in the fall......
I had issues with this studio all year....
the recital was the final straw...
the moral of the story (I guess) is don't mess with the mama bear....
or I'll switch my daughter to another studio and give them my money....
(P.S. I really wish I could show you her little dance. She practiced and practiced her final pose. She even taught her brother how to do it. Unfortunately since purchasing our new computer I haven't been able to upload videos to the blog :P)

She is so pretty. I loved their costumes. That color was beautiful on her. It was so fun to see her do her little dance and she did smile the whole time. They all looked so cute. That was so much fun. (You did great S/H!)
