Lemon Glazed Scones

So, I don't know what it is about stormy weather but it really makes me want to bake. We had a snow storm this weekend and of course I had to bake. My super hero walked to the store for me, after the kids were in bed, to get lemons for this recipe. (He walked because he would have been taking his life into his hands to drive, luckily the store is only a block away.)

So - So - Very Tasty!!!!!! The kids each had two but if they'd had their way they would have liked at least two more each. I guess that's a sign of a good recipe. Honestly none of the recipes I've tried from that mag have been bad.
So if you get a hankerin' to do some bakin' try the scones their GREAT!

Side note......The glaze called for melted butter......I pulled a Carol and left it in the microwave. I Couldn't figure out why I had to ad extra milk to the glaze until I found the butter in the microwave later. It still tasted good though so I guess I just made lower fat glaze. It wasn't low fat because it still had cream in it.


BTW- this is one of the hardest posts I've ever done because I have a 14month old setting on my lap clicking everything and trying to help me type. YIKES!
