With spring comes reading week at the elementary school. Today was HOBO day "jump on the reading train". Here's one of our little hobos.
Spring also brings more time outside. Our neighbor gave the kids this great pack of sidewalk chalk. They all love it but Doodle and Sweet Cheeks have used it the most.
She couldn't wait to get out this morning and draw. In the picture on the right she's glaring at the neighbor's dog who's barking at her. I guess Buster thought it was too early to have little girls out drawing. I think he was right.

Yesterday on our morning drive to school we counted one tree in bloom.
Today we counted 5!!!!!!
And we noticed this little lonely guy smiling at us from across the street.
