update on our hit and run

We heard from the detective assigned to our case this week.
He said that he contacted the man
that owned the truck
that matched the license plate
that Ch- wrote down
after the accident
when the truck drove away
....that lived in the house that Jack built....oh whoops, got carried away there.
ANYWAY, the man said he didn't know he had hit our car until he got home and saw the paint on his tire and bumper. Um....yeah, right. But what else are you going to say to the police? Luckily he had insurance so besides the inconvenience of getting our car fixed it shouldn't cost us anything.
We were very blessed in this whole experience....it could have been so much worse, in so many ways.
