sweet inspiration

MDH and I finally figured out how to get the computer and camera to cooperate with each other. Now I can post these fun pin cushions I made.

My awesome friend Nicole (not to be confused with my awesome niece Nicole) bought me some fabric....just because..... she's nice and thoughtful that way ..... she thought I would adore the fabric as much as she does (I do). The fabric was a stack of 5x5 inch coordinating fabric squares in bright citrus colors (I'm very much into citrus lately). Perfect for sewing into a quilt or what have you. I think I mentioned I've really gotten the sewing bug lately and the fun fabric has really inspired me too. So while blurfing I came across a pattern for some cute pincushions. The pattern called for smaller squares of fabric but since mine were already 5x5 I made mine bigger (I super sized 'em.) I was really happy with the outcome and they were super easy. You may want to try some too.

Happy Pin-Cushioning!
