Greetings From Utah

I think we set some kind of land speed record these past two weeks.
  • Thursday : Loaded Old Blue and Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang.
  • Friday: MDH's Grandma passed away, Drove to Utah, unloaded Old Blue and Chitty-Chitty
  • Saturday: Had Doodles Baptism and family dinner afterward.
  • Sunday: Went to church and had our records read in. MDH flew back to NV
  • Monday: MDH's last day of work (Big HEARING at the city council), Roasted marshmallows with my brother and his family for family night.
  • Tuesday: MDH flew back to UT, Grandma B.'s viewing.
  • Wednesday: Grandma's Funeral, spent the day with family.
  • Thursday: MDH and I flew back to NV. Had the moving trailer delivered, started loading.
  • Friday: Found out we needed to have the truck loaded and picked up by 8pm. New breaks put on the car so we wouldn't wreak and die on our way back to UT.
  • Saturday: Cleaned the house, had final inspection @ 11 am. Drove back to UT.
  • Sunday: Went to church and then came home and passed out from exhaustion.
  • Today: MDH started his new job. I got the kids registered in their new schools. WE officially have a middle schooler. I thought I'd have one more year to prepare for this (Agkkkk.) As soon as I'm done typing this we'll head out and go shopping for school shoes etc. Tonight we'll finally take Doodle out for his birthday dinner. (only a few weeks late)
  • Tomorrow: More school shopping, our trailer will be delivered, unload trailer, back to school night at the elementary. Achievement activity for Banana
  • Day after tomorrow: Back to school night at the middle school.
  • Day after that: First day of school. Take the kids to school - come home - Die!
Following are a bunch of fun pictures I'll explain what they are later. I'm off to shop. wish me luck!

*Doodle's baptism. Can you believe he's so old? I can't!

We decided to have Doodle's baptism so quickly after moving because my brother and his family were visiting UT from Virginia. We haven't seen them for 3 years and we thought it would be nice to have the baptism while they were around.

*Banana decorated these cute flip-flops with her cousins.

And then had a fun time posing for photos.
Aren't these girls gorgeous?!

*This is my bro --- he's such a manly man! Look at those guns!

*Like father like son.....This is my handsome dad- the master griller!

*The following pics are of our fun fire - roasting smarsh-smellows and starbursts. If you haven't roasted starbursts before I highly recommend it. They are TASTY! Just don't roast them too long because then they drip on your fingers and burn you -- OUCHY!

*Above we have Sweet Cheeks and my Niece. Below Duder and my Nephew Preston.
Preston and S.C. are 1 month apart. They were funny because they were very territorial with their toys but they liked to play next to each other. Poor Preston really wanted to give S.C. a hug but she would always straight arm him every time he tried.

She would give him a fist though. Pretty cute.

*Coming soon pics from our picnic at the W- family campgrounds (A.K.A. Ed, or Westgate)
