My dad is diabetic, so, I've discovered my mom keeps a lot of sugar free treats around the house.
I usually avoid these kinds of treats at the store like the plague, but, since they are here and I'm here I decided to give some of them a try.

I usually avoid these kinds of treats at the store like the plague, but, since they are here and I'm here I decided to give some of them a try.
I've discovered....
- Dove Dark chocolates with mint creme (See picture below) are REALLY GOOD. Even if they are sugar free.
- They are not a low calorie food, it says so right on the package underneath the 'Sugar Free'. Even if they are sugar free.
- They really are not a diet food, and particularly if you eat like 15 of them.
- The sugar substitute really will do a number on your intestines if you eat, like, 15 of them. (I wouldn't know first hand, I haven't eaten THAT many, but that's what I hear.)
So the moral of the story is....I am no longer prejudice against sugar free products.

if you eat too many you can get horrible gas and ria! The downfall of sugarfree. I bought some at Coscto that is FANTASIC (the dark chocolate is, the milk has a WIERD aftertaste) I'll send you the name.

Yes I too have come to love sugar free products. Crystal light! Gotta love it. I think it tastes like koolaid. Too bad they aren't diet foods though. I could live on crystal light and chocolate!
I can attest to #4 being dead on. Not me, but Nate, when we had to watch his sugar intake. I gave him these and after about 4, well, let's just say ewwwwwww. You cannot eat these in massive quantities unless you want to call your toilet your friend.
I have had these, and yes, they are very yummy... but I also love anything Dove, Mmmmmm....
Dove tastes so good because the name is so good!
