Just thought I'd fill y'all in on what's going on around here.
Monday I had my tonsils and adenoids removed. Really not a fun procedure and we discovered I have no patience for wimps when I'm coming out of anesthesia. In recovery I had no compassion at all for the lady next to me who kept crying. Kind of makes me laugh now to think about it. I kept saying things like "Get a grip lady and get over it!" Not exactly what I'd be saying normally (unless I was in a really bad mood.)
Anyway........
I've had the best caretaker EVER! MDH seems to know exactly what I need and when and he's easy on the eyes as well.
I'll admit I'm a little loopy right now....probably shouldn't be typing.
But everything went well and everyone around here has been so kind to jump in and help out.
Hopefully I'll be completely on my feet soon but in the mean time I really do appreciate every one's help.
(and just so you know my spelling is even worse when I'm on pain meds......didn't know that was possible but it is)

Oh my gosh...you poor thing. I heard it is worse when you are an adult versus a kid...so thank goodness for your husband who will take care of you.
So not fun when you are older. Why does it take so much time to heal when we are older?! I hope you feel better soon! You have a house full of good helpers! See ya soon!

So sorry Carol! I hope you feel better really soon. I bet you don't get strep anymore though and it will all be worth it!
