Before the fall colors could fade into dreary brown MDH wanted to make sure we made it up a canyon we can see from our front window.
So, for family night we hiked up Baer Creek Canyon.
It was breathtakingly beautiful and we had a great time.
We came upon a tarantula who thought about joining our family but sadly we had leave him behind.
There were rocks to climb.
He even found a place with enough peace and solitude to meditate......
... Kind of....
And then we turned around and headed back down the mountain.
