When there's snow....
.....WE PLAY IN IT!
On New Years Day we went sledding up by Snow Basin Ski Resort with Grandma S. my sister JuLee and her daughter.
It was cold but the hill was perfect and everyone had a great time!
Even Grandma got in on the sledding action!
After sledding we got to head back to Grandma & Grandpa S.'s for yummy chili and hot chocolate.
Yesterday, January 19th we headed up Grandpa & Grandma W. way to play in the snow.
Grandpa was kind enough to pull the kids on their sleds behind the forklift.
They had a blast!
We hoped coming up the canyon we'd be able to escape the air pollution and muck but some of it followed us up.
It wasn't as bad by any means but still a little mucky.
The men folk tying up the sleds.
And they're off!
The kids chasing Grandpa down after getting dumped on a corner.
I think Grandpa had fun too.
Josh got to be pulled behind all of the other sleds and hold onto the rope instead of having his sled tied on.
It looked tough but he handled it like a champ.
At one point he lost his sled but held on and got to pretend to be Indiana Jones.
MDH ran along and threw another sled right in front of him, Josh was able to pull himself onto the sled and keep going.
It was awesome!
My favorite was when the kids all got dumped at the same time on a corner and Grandpa didn't know. He just kept driving and the kids were all running behind calling his name.
What fun memories these kids are making.
Toward the end Sam got dumped and ran over by the sleds behind him.
It was about that time that I thought, "Hmmm, probably these kids should be wearing helmets."
Fortunately he wasn't injured seriously, just scraped.
He was a trooper though and just kept at it.
The best part was when I got cold I got to walk across the street to Grandma's house and go inside and stand by the fire!
That was awesome!
Happy Winter!

Sounds like you had lots of fun! We pretty much just stayed inside and watched the snow from our nice cozy room. I love the snow!
Thanks for the pictures. They were all great. What a fun way to remember the year and all the fun adventures. Our sledding on the mountain and then the fun with Grandpa W. pulling them
behind his Forklift. What fun memories, and a nice Grandpa.
